The latest and Greatest

The summer is finally slowing down just a little bit for us and we have been having a lot of fun. I went up for a quick trip to SLC the week Justin's parents were set apart. It was fun to see a lot of family up there and a couple of friends. Gracie has been having fun riding with Justin. The other day, Justin was riding through the field with Gracie and she fell asleep in the saddle. Luckily, she didn't fall off. Gunner has been Mr. Smiley pants and is moving more all the time. More later.

Independence Day

On the fourth we got together with some of Justin's family. We just had a small crowd, but enjoyed some races in the backyard anyway. It was a lot of fun.

Gunlock

On Thursday night, we went to the Gunlock Rodeo (a local rodeo in a nearby town called Gunlock). We had a great time. Justin and Gracie rode in the grand entry, along with Camille and a bunch of other riders :) Gracie participated in the chicken chase (a bunch of little kids chase chickens around the arena and can sell the chickens for a dollar if they catch one). We loved eating rodeo treats, seeing cousins, playing in the dirt, and of course, watching the rodeo.

The Empty Sea (MTC)

On the 26th of June we went to the MTC in Provo to see Justin's parents set apart. It was a beautiful experience and we are so excited for Larry and Carol Ann. They got to Montana on Wednesday!

It was fun to be back in the MTC. It brought back a lot of memories and we took a fun picture of everyone pointing to where they served. :) Remember when I met my husband on my mission? That was awesome.
