Finding out what kind of eggs we like

One of my resolutions for the new year is to cook breakfast more often. I've been really good about cooking dinner since we've been married but haven't really been very diligent about cooking breakfast. Justin and I both really like cold cereal and because I haven't had all that much practice, my breakfast foods still have something to be desired. You may know how it goes, you only cook french toast every few months and when you go to make it you can't quite remember how much milk to add (or what temp. was good for your electric griddle).

Anyway, I've been really good, and so far I'm 3 for 3. I'm excited not to go through my cereal as fast and already I think I've made Justin feel extra special by going out of my way to do something nice. I'll let you know in the end what my favorite breakfast recipes end up being. I would love any of your favorites (especially healthy favorites because this resolution could get fattening in a hurry).

Okay, we too love making breakfast any time of day really. German pancake are super easy and extremely cheap and a good variation to french toast or pancakes. I don't know if they are really German. Also, can you even eat pancakes after eating them at college every day. I can't! Omelets I've decided are an art and have taken time to get good at. If they aren't beautiful they become scrambled eggs with yummy stuff in it. Also, I recently made a quiche. Again is was surprisingly easy and quite delicious. Good luck. If you would like any specific recipes let me know.

Man, you go all out on your NY goals...Justin is a lucky guy.

I've tried to look into thumb stuff for you...I don't have any of my pediatric materials here, but I did find a good book you may want to look in to...It's "Helping the Thumb-Sucking Child (1999). By Rosemarie A. Van Norman. " Hope that helps!

Sheesh, Mags, good for you! I complain about making one meal a day, I can't imagine actually wanting to make two! :) We make breakfast for dinner a lot, but as I don't like eggs, our options are limited. We usually end up with turkey bacon, whole wheat pancakes, and fruit smoothies. Good luck with your breakfast adventures! Happy New Year! Love ya!
