I was planning on growing my hair out for a little bit longer but had a friend looking for a new hairstyle. I thought I'd look for her really fast and ended up really liking this haircut (for myself). I like that it is straight, I like the bangs, I like the blonde. I'm a little scared to do full-on bangs. The last time I did that (junior year) I ended up clipping them to the side until they grew out because Mary (my sis) told me I looked like Vicky Belnap (our choir director). I also think though that the bangs didn't work because they were curled (not straight like these). Anyway, I would love some input.

You should totally go for it--I really like it. I think the bangs thing would be cute especially since they cut them so long these days that is you still need a "bangs free" day then you can pin them back. I already need to get mine trimmed--they grow fast!

Mags, do it! I think you look adorable with short hair and this would give you a fresh new look and something to play around with. You know, motivation to get ready again. Oh, how would it be? My only warning... Brandon seems to be anti bangs or at least on me and so after cutting mine he suggested I grow them out. Ooops! Something to laugh about I suppose.
I'm in the same boat. I need something new. It seems like I grow my hair out to cut it, then grow it out again and cut it. Over and over. I'd like to find a hairstyle that I love and just stick with it for a while. I think you'd look really cute with that style. Go for it!
I love the cut but I am always nervous about bangs. But I don't like anything in my eyes, but I really do like that cut and color too! Go for it, hair always grows back!

That's too funny that you were compared to V. Belnap - definitely not something you want. Although, I don't remember ever thinking that. That is a really cute style though! I'd go for it...I am much more adventurous now that I cut off all my hair!

Mags...please. V.B. has had bangs since 1984. It was probably rude of me to say that, but bangs weren't in like they are now. I think you'd look great with those cute bangs. And I promise never to compare you to V.B. again. Unless you start wearing any type of ankle or wrist brace with a purple warm-up outfit. L.E. honor.
