Printing my Blog

Last night I was talking to Justin about some things that Gracie has been doing. I told him that I wrote about some of them on our blog. Then he asked me if I wrote them in my journal- oops! I've had so much fun blogging that I haven't really been writing all of these things down in a separate place. So... I've been printing some of my blog today. I've mostly just been printing a post at a time to weed through my haircut options, random posts, and things that just might not be "journal worthy".

I just wanted to mention that because I had wondered before if you can really print a blog, but had never tried. Now that I think about it, it's kind of a no-brainer, " Of course you can print a blog." So if any of you have also been bad at keeping a journal, you print your blogs. I kind of cringe to print things in our almost paperless world, but can't tell you how sad I would be if I someday lost all of the experiences that I've been blogging about.

Maggie, I think that's a great idea! Here's a website you might be interested in: www.blurb.com. I haven't used the website myself, but it will compress your blog into a book with entries and pics. It might be a good option for a journal/scrapbook.
By the way, I'll send you a picture of the aprons as soon as my sister and I actually find the time to finish them!

I "slurped" all our blog entries from last year using the software from blurb.com. It's super easy and FREE! It's a great way to journal everything and then you have a cute little (or big) book to keep forever! I hope to do it yearly, but it is a great website!

Good idea. I've been thinking about this as well.
