Gracie (2 weeks) and Grandma Gardner
When I was younger, my mom always talked about kindred spirits. Ever since I've known Justin's grandma, I've felt a special connection to her. A kindred spirit. I worked for Grandma Gardner the first summer we were married and have spent a lot of time with her as we have lived in Pine Valley each summer since we've been married. Gracie's middle name is Maree (after this special grandma). Well, last Saturday Justin's grandma passed away. We miss her already and will continue to miss her. This last week I've been very grateful that we are able to be blessed by the lives of others. We have also been happy to be back in St. George and have loved being back around family.

Maggie--I am so sorry for your loss. I could tell from hearing you talk about her that Justin's grandmother was a close soul. I loved your stories of working for her--trying on dresses, organizing her things. I bet she had so much fun just hanging out with you that summer. Give Justin and his family my love and condolences.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma, but i'm very happy that you had a special relationship with her. I'm also so happy you can be with your family.
We were so sad to hear about Grandma Gardner. We have been thinking about you guys often. We miss you already and Afton has asked about "my friend Gracie". Sorry we didn't get to see you before you left. I am a little jealous that you are in St. George for the summer. I love it there, plus it is extremely close to home!! We hope you have a great summer. Keep in touch!

We need to have little Gracie over to play...maybe even go out with you and Justin sometime. When are you heading up to PV?
