I guess I need to start June off a little better than I did May. We have had a great month of May filled with a lot of craziness and also a lot of fun. We moved to St. George in a bit of whirlwind, stayed at Justin's parent's house in St. George for a few weeks, and then made the move to Pine Valley. For those not familiar with Pine Valley, you can look forward to a special Pine Valley post coming soon.
Justin hasn't wasted any time. He has been working hard mowing lawns, driving cattle, and has spent the last couple of days searching for some lost cows. His awesome tan has returned and all of us (Justin especially) have loved being back in familiar territory.
I (Maggie) have been busy too. We don't have internet or TV right now, but somehow my days are filled from morning to night. It has been too much fun for me to have family around and especially to have cousins and second cousins for Gracie to play with.
Gracie undertook a great challenge this week. We told her that if she quit sucking her thumb for a week she could go on a date with mom and dad without Gunner (her request). We are planning to ride horses and get ice cream. I am happy to report, that although her sleeping habits (naps and bedtime) have been terrible, she has been successful for almost two weeks now. We've had all sorts of incentives along the way- including a ride on the four wheeler with dad, permission to play in the ditch water (simple pleasures), and special treats. We are really proud of her and hope she can keep it up.
Gunner is doing all sorts of firsts. He is on the brink of sitting on his own, can sit in the booster high chair, and is sitting in the umbrella stroller. Gunner also went for his first ride in a tire swing. His hair has started to grow and it looks just as light as Gracie's. His skin is as white as mine and Gracie's too. :) I started Gunner on rice cereal last week but have stopped for a few days again because he has been a little bit sick. At the last weigh in, he was 16 lbs. He seems to have slowed down a little bit but is fitting fine into many 6-9 month clothes.

Gracie's hair is long! And her legs are so skinny. Gunner is looking ever more handsome. Yeah Justin for the righteous tan!
glad you are enjoying utah, for we are missing you around here, just yesterday Shelby asked about Gracie. Gunner is so cute and chunky!
Wow, so much fun going on there. Is Justin done with school or are you back in utah for the summer?
Sounds like fun! We are heading to Vegas at the end of July and stopping off in St. George. Maybe we should get together for breakfast or something! We are taking Jackson on a trip!
You're such cute parents! I love the rewards you're offering Gracie! We were just in Pine Valley on Saturday, we should have waved as we drove past the Gardner cabin. :)
