On Tuesday, we went to a pick your own farm that was somewhat nearby. The deal was that you could pick 10, 6lb bags of produce for $10. We had a great time. It originally started out as a field trip for Gracie's pre-school and then suddenly there were 12 women (most of them moms with kids in tow). Anyway, we are loving all of these fresh farm goodies.
Pumpkins, corn, eggplant, zucchini, green peppers, jalapenos, banana peppers, celery and green beans
Carrots, potatoes, and beets
They had these cars painted like the cars from the movie, "Cars". It was awesome. Too bad I didn't get a picture of mater.
Gracie with our food and our Gunner.
Gracie and Me with our friend, Jaylene
My friends Ashley, Amy, ME, and Jaylene. (I had more friends there and more pictures, but thought I was already on picture overload for this post).
Gracie and me on the "think pink" tractor. The sun was a little bright, can you tell?

Wow, what a steal on all that fresh food!!!! I'm jealous. What do you do with all that eggplant?
I love all your posts. What a steal on all the veggies, that is amazing. I love all the painted cars. Blake would have just been in heaven. Love you guys!
I made eggplant parmagiana with the eggplant. You should look up the recipe. It was pretty good.
Mags, I love it! I have a Mater picture for you! We went to a pick your own rasp. farm (why do't they have these in Utah they are amazing!) and they had a truck in the field that looked exactly like mater! I have a post that I have been wanting to do for a year now that is all about some veggies I got at an awesome store, though your deal looks better and more fun!
Miss you,
HK
P.S. I want that pink tractor, though I wouldn't know what to do with it. (:
Another P.S. I just re-read your post title and LOL! I sing that all the time and go right back to seventh grade... that was the best way to get to know you! Such memories. (:

mags this sounds so cool. I just went to our farmer's market and it was soooo expensive. I was dying. I did however, buy some orchids there for a housewarming gift to myself. Can I do that?
I would love to get all of that fresh food though.
