I'm a pregnant lady
This is my 30 week belly shot. We took it yesterday though, so it is more like a 31 week shot (as of today). Things are going well. The baby looks healthy. A recent ultrasound said that the baby is measuring smaller than my due date, so I'm hoping for the end of November, but won't be surprised with a December baby. I'm feeling good and getting excited to meet this little girl. I'm now into the single digits with only 9 weeks left!
Did you notice that Gracie wanted her "belly shot" too. I love the hand placement.
He's a student
Justin has been staying busy with school. He has already taken multiple tests and is about to enter his second round of tests (why do they always end up being the same week?). He is a hard worker and we love him. Justin is also playing intramural soccer this semester with the vet med team. I would have caught some action shots, but I was chasing around a little boy who shall not be named.
She's a cowgirl
This was the conversation the other day:
Justin: I'm going to go to the track. I think I'll try to run stairs. Gracie, do you want to go?
Gracie: I really need to go
**Come to find out, Gracie thought they were going to the tractor and that they were going to run some steers. On the way out the door I heard her asking if there would be horses there too! I love it.
On a different note, we are watching a few extra kids today. One is an 8 month old baby and Gracie is being a very devoted mother to him. It makes me happy. One more thing... we got our first part in the primary program this week at church!!

He's a pistol
Gunner is getting bigger and more of handful each day. We love him so much. His curly hair adds to his crazy personality and I can just tell that he is going to be the class clown. He loves to make us laugh. The above picture is eating some Nutella toast the other morning. YUM! He is starting to talk better and say all kinds of things. He is getting faster every day and is helping me remember what it is like to run all the time. Our favorite word is "thank you" because he often remembers to say it without being reminded.
Miller Farms
.
We went to Miller Farms again this year for a little pre-school activity. They charge $10 per adult for a group of 10 or more and they let you pick 6 ten pound bags of produce on the farm. We had a great time. Such a great time, in fact, that I didn't get any pictures until we got home :(
I canned tomatoes with my friend a few days later. I also canned some peaches with a friend this week, but figured you were sick of all my pictures of bottled goods. We love this farm though and can't wait to go again this year or next.

Canning Queen
We have been busy preserving food for the last few weeks. We froze some corn that we got from the church farm in Greeley and then I made applesauce from some apples I picked for free from some craigslist people. It was fun and I am happy now to have my corn, my applesauce, and the beans I canned with Carrie before I left Pine Valley.
P.S. The title reminded me of "dancing queen" by Abba.
You can freeze, you can can- having the time of your life.
Ohhhhh- feel the love, live the dream
you are the canning queen.
(but really I'm not- I know there are people in the world who can butter. Surely, they must be the canning queens...or kings).

Back to School
I took this picture on Gracie's first day of pre-school but wanted to include Justin because he is going back to school too. Gunner didn't want to miss out on the fun either. We are doing another pre-school co-op with some moms from vet school and the ward. We are really excited and there are 5 cute little girls.
Gunner loved coming home and having free reign of all the toys while Gracie was off learning. I guess all of the excitement (and church the day before) wore him out. This is how I found him downstairs after leaving for just a few minutes.
Vet Fest
We went to CSU's vet fest last Saturday. All veterinary students and their families are invited each year to a BBQ. The students sign up for clubs, there are dogs galore, and as much beer as you're willing to buy (ha ha- I heart keggers- tjk.) In spite of the alcohol, it is a really fun event and we had a great time.
Gunner was the life of the party. He gave huge smiles every time he saw a dog and showed off cool dance moves while the band was playing.
Gracie and Gunner with all of their cute buddies. Just a handful of us have kids, so they were quite the attention grabbers.
Silly boy
Gunner has been making me laugh a lot lately. I caught him trying his pajama shorts on his head. He looked like an old peasant woman. I love how serious and determined they get. He's also been asking to use the potty (aka- sitting on the potty but not really using it). He can lift up the lid and put the little potty seat up on the toilet in our upstairs bathroom. The other day I found him like this in the downstairs bathroom saying, "I want to go Potty". Oops.
Cookie Cutters
While we were in Salt Lake, we took Gracie and Tillie to get their hair cut at cookie cutters. They had a ball. Gracie just got a trim, Tillie cut several inches off, and we didn't touch Gunner's curls.
I loved her cute updo- a braid to a messy bun.
Gunner loved the car chairs that they let you sit in.
Tillie getting her hair cut.
The two happy cousins at the end with matching hair-do's
