Maisy got to leave the hospital on Justin's birthday. We were so excited but it felt like we were waiting at the hospital forever to get released. Did I already mention that the surgeons said she could go home on Thursday but the other doctors wanted to leave her to keep an eye on her.
Gunner got his new doctor's outfit when Maisy came home. Gracie got a new pillowcase. They were both so excited.

All 5 of us for the birthday celebration |
For some reason I didn't have any posed pictures of Carol Ann on Justin's birthday. She made it all happen though. She had made a delicious cake, picked up some ice cream and made some delicious sticky chicken. We watched Secretariat that night. It was a fun party and felt nice to finally be home and have Maisy with us.
Justin had a little bit of a cold still and so did the kids. So he found a more sanitary way to blow out the candles. It was hilarious, because he pulled it out as a surprise. Even funnier, were the relighting candles that seemed to have an extra charge from the little mattress pump. I thought the smoke alarm was going to go off :)

Happy Birthday Justin. :) Fun times! I loved listening to mom tell me the story about the blower and the trick candles!
Kim . . . or maybe Kellie, told me about those candles. So funny!
Very funny, Justin. At first glance I thought it was a blowtorch to light the candles...you are getting so old now that it might be easier to light them that way, hahaha
Justin...you make me laugh!
