Party time

We invited a few friends over for a little Halloween birthday/costume party. It was fun and we had a lot of fun preparing the week before as well. Gracie and Gunner helped me make the pumpkin pinata and I think it might need to be a yearly tradition. It was a lot of fun. I stuck a giant spider in there, along with candy, some spider rings, and some fake worm snakes. I love spookiness:)

The people who helped me pull of the party. I would have been in way over my head.
 The demolished pinata.
These were the poison apple cupcakes. Gracie was really worried about me making them. She said, "Mom, none of my friends are going to eat those if they think they are going to die." I think of all the scary looking cupcakes I have made, these spoke the "scary language" of little girls the best.I had lots of worried looks. I'm glad they could be pretty AND spooky.

If I could have just one of your "helpers" around for every birthday party to come I would feel like I could get anything done! I had Neil here all day before Beans and Cares day and it was incredibly helpful. So fun that you had family out there this past week--and for all the snow too! That is crazy. I was thinking about you guys as I saw the footage of Colorado snow!

So many fun updates and pics--wish Gracie happy birthday from us!
