Our trip started out well. We left Fort Collins on the Saturday before Memorial Day. Justin left the next day for an externship in Boise. Externships are a short-term internship where Justin goes to work in a clinic. For him it was an elective clinical rotation.
We went to a breakfast at the park by my parent's house and then I went with my dad up to our cabin up Provo Canyon. It was nice and relaxing and so much fun to be there. It makes me wish we lived closer to enjoy it more often.
We stopped by my Aunt Genie's house for a minute and I introduced my kids to the pond and the raft. We loved this pond as a kid. We finished off the day by visiting graves and taking flowers. I loved having the special time with my dad and remembering those special people.
My mom was busy at the hospital with my Grandma, who had fallen a few days before and broken her pelvis in 2 places. We spent a lot of the next week with Grandma, visiting and helping.
