I'm a pregnant lady

This is my 30 week belly shot. We took it yesterday though, so it is more like a 31 week shot (as of today). Things are going well. The baby looks healthy. A recent ultrasound said that the baby is measuring smaller than my due date, so I'm hoping for the end of November, but won't be surprised with a December baby. I'm feeling good and getting excited to meet this little girl. I'm now into the single digits with only 9 weeks left!

Did you notice that Gracie wanted her "belly shot" too. I love the hand placement.

He's a student

Justin has been staying busy with school. He has already taken multiple tests and is about to enter his second round of tests (why do they always end up being the same week?). He is a hard worker and we love him. Justin is also playing intramural soccer this semester with the vet med team. I would have caught some action shots, but I was chasing around a little boy who shall not be named.

She's a cowgirl

This was the conversation the other day:
Justin: I'm going to go to the track. I think I'll try to run stairs. Gracie, do you want to go?
Gracie: I really need to go

**Come to find out, Gracie thought they were going to the tractor and that they were going to run some steers. On the way out the door I heard her asking if there would be horses there too! I love it.

On a different note, we are watching a few extra kids today. One is an 8 month old baby and Gracie is being a very devoted mother to him. It makes me happy. One more thing... we got our first part in the primary program this week at church!!

He's a pistol

Gunner is getting bigger and more of handful each day. We love him so much. His curly hair adds to his crazy personality and I can just tell that he is going to be the class clown. He loves to make us laugh. The above picture is eating some Nutella toast the other morning. YUM! He is starting to talk better and say all kinds of things. He is getting faster every day and is helping me remember what it is like to run all the time. Our favorite word is "thank you" because he often remembers to say it without being reminded.

Miller Farms

.
We went to Miller Farms again this year for a little pre-school activity. They charge $10 per adult for a group of 10 or more and they let you pick 6 ten pound bags of produce on the farm. We had a great time. Such a great time, in fact, that I didn't get any pictures until we got home :(

I canned tomatoes with my friend a few days later. I also canned some peaches with a friend this week, but figured you were sick of all my pictures of bottled goods. We love this farm though and can't wait to go again this year or next.

We heart breakfast!

We have had hot cereal SEVERAL times this week. My kids can't get enough of it. I try to bribe them with waffles but instead get tantrums for oatmeal. It always makes me laugh and wonder what the big draw is with oatmeal. But hey... I guess there are worse things they could be begging for :)

Canning Queen

We have been busy preserving food for the last few weeks. We froze some corn that we got from the church farm in Greeley and then I made applesauce from some apples I picked for free from some craigslist people. It was fun and I am happy now to have my corn, my applesauce, and the beans I canned with Carrie before I left Pine Valley.

P.S. The title reminded me of "dancing queen" by Abba.
You can freeze, you can can- having the time of your life.
Ohhhhh- feel the love, live the dream
you are the canning queen.
(but really I'm not- I know there are people in the world who can butter. Surely, they must be the canning queens...or kings).
