Getting ready to open her present from Nanny and Grandpa.
The "Strawberry Shortcake" cake that Gracie had requested. I was pleased with how it turned out. It was the perfect balance between having a really special cake and being really simple.Getting ready to blow out the candles! As she blew out the candles, Gracie leaned a little too far forward and burned her forehead (not bad, just enough for us to see a reaction). It was kind of funny.

I'm glad you both had fun birthdays!! It was fun to skype with you today. We should do it more often:)
The cake looks great! happy birthday Gracie! I meant another girl at a park with Kjersten and Gracie's birthday and age. They're triplets!
Still laughing of that last photo of Gracie! Glad you captured the moment. The cake looks yummy! Have you made it to McDonalds in the last month? They had (don't know if they still do) Strawberry Shortcake as toys.
Love ya!
So happy you two had wonderful birthdays! I love the Strawberry Shortcake Cake - totally cute!
Hey! It's been way too long since I've checked out your blog! Your kids are so much bigger than the last time I saw you guys! Congrats on another baby girl due in just a month or so! That is so exciting. Thanks also for telling me about Joy School that you do with a bunch of other moms in your neighborhood. I've asked around here in our new neighborhood and no I know of so far is doing it. Hopefully I meet some more new people and can figure something out!
So super cute. Great job on the cake!
Ethan says I love that cake. It's so cute. And it's looks so yummy. :) Good work Maggie. Tell Gracie happy birthday. I still remember when David and I came to visit her when she was a newborn. Crazy how time flies.
Super cute. I love Gracie's face and your cake (and birthday cheesecake) look so good!
Sorry I forgot to ask about it! Happy birthday Gracie!!
