Update

Maisy is done with surgery. We get to see her in a few minutes. Dr. Kennedy said it all went well. Her heart is the size of a lemon and the hole was the size of a drinking straw. They were able to patch it with pericardium (the sac around the heart) so she doesn't have any foreign bodies.

can't wait to see our sweet baby.

My heart just goes out to ya'll so much! My cousin had to have open heart surgery as a baby for the same thing. He's 14 now (also Down's) but loves to show off his scar. Hoping the best for you and Justin. Miss ya'll so much! One day our kids will meet. :)
