We had such a fun campfire. I wish we were in this setting more often. Few things are as thrilling to me as sitting around a campfire singing. We sang Princess Pat (which my kids have been requesting as a goodnight song ever since-- Maisy is getting pretty good at it), Joe led us in "Hi, my name is Joe" (which my kids were also singing for days), and we sang lots of other favorites. We all joined in the beaver song, and Johnny Verbeck. It was awesome and also sweet to sing primary songs together near the end.
That night, we had a toy scramble. We did this as kids at Snydermill. We had a big box of toys (think dollar store or toys kids didn't want anymore.) and then we dumped the box and the kids scrambled for toys like they would for treats when a pinata breaks. It was so fun. This was the end of our reunion. We packed up early the next morning and checked out. We had such a great time.
