Country Home

 Justin and his dad found this cute house for us to rent when they came with the U-Haul. It's in the country on 5 acres. There are trees everywhere. Here is the front of the house. The grass is a little sparse.

 Here is our back porch. We like to sit out here when it isn't too hot, and sometimes when it is too hot, we come out here to eat otter pops.

 We moved in enough to be comfortable, but a lot of our things we just brought right back to the garage-- baby clothes, fancier serving dishes. Moving is so much work, and because our move will probably be short term (about a year) we didn't want to multiply our work.

 This is my driveway. This picture is taken from the garage. Our personal driveway goes up to the mailbox. We also live in a cul-de-sac, so the kids have enjoyed riding bikes up the super long driveway with no mom warning them about cars or strangers:)

My favorite thing about living here is how quiet it is (in a good way-- not a creepy way). I don't really feel the need to lock my car at night (don't know that I have yet). No solicitors... we are too out of the way. And... I've heard that Gracie's school bus picks them up at the top of our driveway. So far, we've found lizards (like Geckos), frogs, grasshoppers (which Gunner is getting really good at catching), a million kinds of spiders, scorpions, big juicy bugs that remind me of the Lion King when Timon and Pumba introduce Simba to eating bugs. We've also seen owls, deer, bunnies, squirrels (though not in abundance like in Fort Collins),  and beautiful birds like cardinals. We've seen turtle,armadillo, and skunk roadkill but haven't seen any of the real thing yet. :)
